It ia said the foundation of all Mr Knowles’ past work is hujaour, not humour merely of the kitobeu garden order, but humour manufactured by B.G. on bis own premises, by bimssif and for himself. A successful mao, be has had many imitators but no rival. In the course of his entertainments will be discovered an embarrassment of fun, plenty of wit, a profundity of irresistible anecdote, side-splitting sSory-telliog, piquant mimiory, in short, not a dull or uninteresting moment. Mr R. G. Knowles’ entertainment is in no wise of tbo variety order, and has proved for the lucky vendor an extraordinary sucoess. His African tour, receotly terminated, was of an unparalleled nature. Mr Knowles will entertain bis listeners with travels and experiences or, in other words, he will take his audience round the world with him,’ as boon and confidential companions. Two distinct changes of programme will be given daring the season. Mrs R. G. Knowles, a banjo player, will assist, and special biographic illustrations of Mr Knowles’ narratives will bo disclosed. Throughout the New Zealand tour, now drawing to a close, the audiences and press everywhere have waxed enthusiastic over the superlative merits of the entertainment. The J. 0.
