The Cbristehurch Drainage Board's proposal to raise-JGIOO.OOO for the purpose of inoioasing the plant at the pump ng station and extending the sewage system was adopted by the ratepayers to day, 1035 supporting it and 285 opposing it, giving a margin of 213 over the throefifths majority required,
