EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT. (Par Press Araoedatian.) Dunedin, last night. At a meeting of delegates of the New Zealand Bawling Association to-night, it was decided to hold an exhibition tournament in Christchurch on January 14tb, 1907 Raaolutions recently adopted by the tx-cutiva wore passed after considerable discussion. The delegates suggested that the programme ehoald provide for rink matches, the eompetitois to be divided into tight sections of eight rinks, and each rink in a section to play every other rink in the section, doubles and singles to be played on the sadden death principle, and if time permit consolation doubles to be played, the Association to issue an invitation to bowlers generally throughout Australasia, Dr Thomas and the Canterbury centre to be asked to naihe any special persons or olubs to be invited

TURANGANUI CLUB. At the above dab’s green yesterday afternoon, the second round in the Champion Singles was commenced, a good game taking placs. The result was: Martin 19 Morrison 16

On the last few heads Morrison soored better, but was unable to catch his opponent, who won by two points JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. Nasmith, jor 20 Birrell 16 This matoh commenced the second round in the above competition. Birr obtained the lead, but Nasmith quick, wrested it, being 5 against 2 on the 6th head. Birrell drew up level on the lOlb, head—6 all, Nasmith, however, was not to be denied, and on the ,15th head had 13 again! 9, eventually winning as above.
