WEDDING BELLS.

The To Arai ohuroh waa prettily deoorated on Wednesday last on the occasion of the marriage of a highly popular young oouple —Miaa Eihel(Dollj) Kirk (eldest daughter of Mr W. Kirk, Te Arai) and Mr Benjamin Hodgson Aialabie (second son of Mr J. H. Aislobie, Matawhero). The ceremony, which waa performed in the presence of a large number of guests, waa' oondnoted by the Bov. Mr Butteifield. The bride, who given away by her father, was charmingly attired in a cream Bilk voile, trimmed with silk insertion and bebe ribbon, and wore the orthodox wreath and veil, Miss Nora Webb, in a blue silk and black ploture bat, made an exceedingly pretty chief bridesmaid, and the other bridesmaids, Misses Ivy Kirk, Fanny Aislabie, and Marion OoppiD, beirg very b-oomiogly attired in cream doth frooks and Belle of | New York bonnets. They carried baskets of flowers, while the bride aod chief brie-maid errried exquisite shower bouquets. The bridegroom was attended as best man by Mr W. Bruce. Tba groom’s presents to the bride were a beautiful grey fur aod muff, to the chief bridesmaid a gold baud ring, and to tbo youDger bridesmaids gold brooohes. As the wedding party left the churoh the “ Wedding Maroh ” was played by Mre McOabe. Toe happy oouple were diiven to the residence of the bride’s parents, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of, over 100 guests being present. In the evening the young oouple, who were the recipients of many presents, left on a honeymoon trip to Wellington, the bride’s travelling dress being of gray cloth, with piuk chiffon hat
