OVER 400 GALLONS IN 25 MINUTES

(Per Press Association.) New Plymouth, last night. There was considerable exoilement in (own to-day when it wsb reported that oil was freely flawing from the petioleum bore. Upwards of four hundred gallons were pumped in twpnty five mm tes. The oil is of splendid sample, completely free frem water, but the saod in the here has not yet been quite got rid of. The rods will be again lifted to allow of the fitting of new washers on the plunger, the washeis wearing quickly owing to the aotion of the grit. The pressure of gas is increasing greatly.
