Diniznln protests his loyalty, and says he is willing to send the whole of his tribe under the chief induna to arrest the dog Bambaata, he himself remaining as hostage in British hands. Ha is unable to lead through illness.
The authorities adhere to their intention to mobilise 5000 Natal troops, and to employ 2000 Cape and Transvaal auxiliaries.
Mr Srhythe, Premier of Natal, has accepted. Colonel Emmett's commando of 250 Vryheid Boers. OofOhol Mansell Is laagered at lokauweier. An imp! approaching did not dare to make an attack.
