YES NO REID ON THE COLOR QUESTION.

Reid, in a speech at Dubbo, said that ho stood side by Bide with Mr Watson on the White Australia question, but the revolation not only of skill and valor, but also of humanity of the Japanese in tho late war convinced him that it should be ono of the groat aims of Australia to got on terms of friendship with Japan.

Mr Reid, continuing, said there need not bo a Japanese invasion, but he thought it was well within tho sphere of practical politios that they could, while not Bacrifioiog their national objects, recover the esteem and friendship of the great colored races.
