TWO DEATHS RESULT. By, telegraph, Press Afls’n, Copyright Sydney, April 10. Two men, named Farquhar and Swainston, succumbed to the eff.cts of gas in the Proprietary mine. A boy named Tonkin is in a serious condition.

Altogether about twenty men are affeoted. The rest have recovered. But for the prompt efforts of the resoue party, and the bravery displayed by them, the affair would have been much more serious.

Several cl the resouers were amongst those who were overcome by gas. There are no indications of the fire sheading.
