Pastoralists have nothing to complain of about the wool market. Such firmness as is now being displayed at the London sales is refreshing, and will mean a splendid income for the colony. When produce prices are as high as they are now, there can be no possiblity of any break in the prosperity that has been with us now for some years. The butter market is easing down, but that scarcely concerns the colony because the whole of our butter was placed at the commencement of the season, and at splendid prices. 'We may safely assume that 1906 will see the colony as prosperous as ever, and, with the Exhibition to come on at the end of the year, business should remain good for at least eighteen months ahead. — Wellington Lance.
