M. Brunke, a bank clerk at Brunswick, betrothed to Fraulein Haars, found himself equally attached to her sister. The three decided to euic’de,
Brunke shot both dead, and unsuccess ! u!ly aitempied suicide.
The girls’ mother suicided with grief. Brunke was sentenced to eight years' imprisonment.
