MILITARY AND SPORTS PROGRAMME.

(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. The military affairs programme of the exhibition, covering an allotment of £4OO for prizes, has been agreed to by the Gom« missioners. The recommendations of the sports committee, covering an expenditure of £484 to prepare a sports ground, except seating accommodation and enclosing fence, and to provide prize.-money in connection with the holding of twenty-three sports of different-nature?, has also been approved. The recommendations of the horticultural and ißudeeape gardening committee, to purchase £3OO worth of bedding plants in connection with the gardening operations of the exhibition, have been acoepted by the Executive Commissioners.
