FIND OF OIL
(Per Press Asiooiatioa.) Oamaru, laßt night. In cutting a drain to let water off a 1000 acre swamp on Mr H. B. Crawford’s Runanga station, near Taupo, indications of oil were found, pointing to the probability of a big reservoir underneath. The owner, who resides here, is taking steps to have the find thoroughly prospected.
