WELLINGTON REGATTA, STAR CLUB SECURES MOST EVENTS.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The annual regatta of- the Wellington Rowing Association took plaoe along the | Oriental Bay shore on Saturday afternoon. There was a southerly breeze blowing, and at times the water was none too good for the light craft engaged. The day was an outing for the crews from the Star Olub, Wellington, who won the maiden fours, junior clinker fours, senior double sculls, senior pairs; senior sculls, and junior fours. They also finished second in the senior fours, maiden double soull?, and youths’ fours. The Canterbury Club won the senior fours and youths’ fours. . The Union Club, Christchurch, won tbe junior pairs.

The Wellington Rowing Club won the maiden double sculls. Crews from Pioton, Wanganui, and Napier also competed, but did no good,
