ATTACK BY ARMED PEASANTS.

Armed poasants attacked a dotaohment of soldiers drilling at tho Ohapollo Jansen, brlioviug they wore trying to foroo an entrance into tho ohurob. Several officers and soldiers were woundod and retreated. Peasants placed throe starving boara in tho Oathodral of Oominao. An inspector entering to make an inventory wae noarjy clawed to death. Tho boars are still in possession. M. Sarrion, in a spocoh in tho Chamber, said tho separation law would be administered in a liberal spirit, but the Chamber's lay conquests would be inflexibly defended.
The Frcnoh Chamber by 805 votes to 197 expressed oonfidouoe in M. Sarrien’s programme.
