'(Per Press Association.) I Oamaru, lest night. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning, before Mr Keddell, 8.M., James MoNeil was sentenced to 12 months’ imprison* ment with hard labor, for most revolution indecency in the principal street of the town, exposing his person to women and young girls, The accused had been sentenoed four times previously on similar, charges at Mosgiel, Temuka, and Christchurch. The details were quite unfit for publics* tiOD, Mr Keddeli said it was the worst case of his experience, and he donbted if he was doing his duty in dealing summarily with accused.
