At the meeting of the Dunedin and Suburban Presbyterian Office-bearers’ Association, it was resolved to ask the convener of the Synod to arrange for a conference on the question of tenure of pastorate at the forthcoming sitting of the fjjynod It war further resolved that this meeting affirms the principle of limited tenure of pastorate, and that questions be remitted to the Executive to take what ever action may bo considered necessary. THE PRIMATE. The Primate left to-day to join tbo Vancouver mail steamer, by way of Auckland. Dean Fitohelt has been appointed commissary daring his absence.
