EVEN THE PREMIER PROTESTS

Referring to the Scenery Reservation Commission, tbo Premier considers there ha? been too much delay in dealing with some reserves, which should have been secured, with the result that the Government is involved in additional cost. The Commission had cost the colony £2500 in fees, travelling expenses, oto., and it wai about time to out the paiDter and hand she powers of the Commission over to the oilieers of the Lands Department. The Commissioners were st il travelling and be supposed they thought they were going on forever, but they had made a mistake.
