A speoial mooting of tho Tramway Board was held this aftornoon to oonsider matters in oonnootion with tho oontraot with tho (Eloolrioal Construction Company, Tho soorotary was instructed to write to tho Board's engineers to tho I effect that tho Board has boon advised by its solicitors that tho oontraot time having expired it should inform him that tho Board intends to enforce tho penalties provided for in tho contract. Undor tho agreement with tho Construction Com- i pany tho Board’s onginoor Is constituted solo arbitrator on tbe points of dispute.
