LECTURE.

There was a large attendance at tbe Theatre Royal last night-, when the Rev. J. R. Fiycn Anderson gave a lecture on his travels in Africa. In tbe unavoidable absence of the Mayor. Mr Andrew Graham proeided, The lecture abounded in highly interesting information, eet forth in an interesting way by the widely travelled and able lecturer. The chief points were illustrated with limelight views. _ The leoturer held the audience fascinated throughout by his narrative and story, and he was frequently accorded vary heurty applause.
