MAORI REPRESENTATION. (Pec Presa Association.) Christchurch, last night. The Maori Committee of the exhibition, in consultation with Mr Hamilton, curator of the Wellington museum, have agreed upon a scheme ' ir a Maori representation at the exhibition. It is proposed to ereot a buildiDg whtrein various a>ts and customs of the Maoris shall be illustrated, and to obtain from the North Island 15 Maori men aod 10 women, all expert in different branches of old arts, to afford illustrations. A small fortified pah, it is ‘suggested, will a'so be built. A site has been selected for the erection of the buildfop, and plans have been prrpared by the exhibition architects. Poi and haka dances will bo given in the concert hall by the natives of those tribes which are most proficient in tbeße. Mr Hamilton will Bubmit plans of the proposed buildings to the Native Minister,
