Auckland, list night. It appm-s from information available hero that tho statement that tho Insurance Conference decided to accept re-iusutanco of State risks with the Stato Department is incorrect. Tho facts are that all the higher latos imposed twelvemonths nrr ol ebhfly uff.cting msicaotilo risks through out the colony, bnvo been abolished. The Conferouce also decided in tbo meantime to co-insure (not re insure) with the Stato F.re Department, thus reversing tho previous practice of deebmng tr accept any risks in which the St its Department was ioterested.
