The Board to-day made appointments as follows :—Headmaster J, C. Webb, new headmaster at Thorndon sohool, Welling ton ; male assistant, J. A. Cowles, of Newtown, and Edie, of Eltham ; female assistants, Misses M ■ Sinclair, Palmerston Noitb, A L. Ha'!, Mount Cook, Bnd M, Hilchcock, South Wellington ; secondary assistant, J. Cougbley, Kaikoura North ; mas er of model country schoo', J. Tamblyp, Bulls.
