A MOTHER’S DESPAIRING EFFORTS.

William Sinclair McDonald, four years of oge, Bon of art silent of Itoslyu, ■ wbs drowned io a water bole in Kaikor&i. Tho lad was playing with his brotbor on the edge of tho bcD, which was about 4ft deep, when ho fell io. His mother made desperate efforts to save her sin, but it was not till further assistance arrivod that the body was recovered, life being extinct.
