(Per Press Association.) Blenheim, last night.

The total for the 43rd week of the New Zealand egg-laying competition waß 1572, making a grand aggregate of 77 431, and a weekly average per pen of 15.72. The highest layings for tbe week were : Ashworth’s silver Wyandottes, Alexandria, 34 ; Marlborough A. aod P. Association’s white Leghorns, 30; Leger’s ditto, Levin, 29. The order of merit on the grand aggregate is : Loger, 1228 ; Brooks, South Australia, 1106 ; Marlborough A. and P. Association, 1798; Jonathan Hodson, Blenheim, 1068; Mick Shaw, Blenheim, 1061—all tho above being white Legbornß; Hookey’B brown Leghorns, Nelson, 1029,
