iPENING OF THE NEW YARDS.

There was a large and representative athedng of settlers of tho East Coast at 10 opening BtocK sils held at Tolago Bay d Tuesday under the auspices of the olago Bay Saley&rds Company. Upwards f 20,000 sheep were yarded, and although ompetition wa3 very slack when tho lots ere offered, good business was done rivately, and about two-thirds of the ardiog was disposed of.
