Messrs Williamson and G. Reynolds umpired in the first match, Messrs Wiliamson aod W. G. Sherratt in the second, and Mr J. R. Murphy in the third. Afternoon tea was supplied by Mesdames W. G. Sheri a't and J. Clark. The tournament will ba resumed tomorrow at noon, when tie handicap matches will be etaited. Waipiro I plays MaDgaheia 11, aod Mangaheia I plays Mangutu Poverty Bay I and II meet in the s: nior match at 2 o’olock. Oa Saturday the winners of the Poverty Bay match play Mang.tu I in the senior contest, end in tbe handicop match the Waipiro II play the winneis of Waipiro I v. MoDgaheia 11. . A meeting of tbe Association will ho held in the Masonic Hotel on Siturday OYoning at 8 u’e'oak.
