ANOTHER NARROW ESCAPE.

Mr O. E. Stewart went to Waikokopudo meet his wife and sou and another boy arriving by the s.s. Weka, The river was high. He left his wife and boy at T hotnpT son’s boardiDg-house. He and his son were fording the river at Stewart’s crossing when ihe buggy and pair of horses were weshed into a deep pool and disapprared. The occupants swam ashore. The buggy will be grappled for on abatement of the flood.
