At the annual mayoral pionio at the waterworks intake the mayor announced that the new borough valuation totalled over £76,000, an increase of £14,000 on 1 ist year, and £25,000 over 1902. lathe lost four years 348 new buildings have beeD erected and 287 additions, some of the latter extensive reconstructions of business premises. Last year there were 119 new buildings coostructed and 81 additions. Mr Craigie was urged to accept another (fifth) year of mayoralty to put under way the underground drainage and electric light aDd power sohomes which he has been working up. Mr Cra’gie deferred his reply.
