SHEEP FAIR,

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night.

The first sheep fair of the season was held to-day. There was a large attendance of buyers. The sheep sen! in oompared very favorably with those offered last year. The prioe of ewes was slightly better, but wethers were pretty much the same. Satisfactory prices were realised. Lincoln ewes from 0. T. Barribsll, of Waiuku, brought 255, and crossbred wethers from J. O’Neil were sold at 17s 33. The highest prioed ram sold (Linoolo) was 81 guineas from 0. T. Bajtriball, Waiuku, to J. Morri- j eon. Lambs sold to 12s,
