The Now Zealand footballers played i\ maloh to-day against a team of San Francisco footballers, with the result; * Now Zealand 43 San Franoiscio 6 Lstor.—A Rugby game was played on Saturday afternoon on the Berkeley grounds. New Zsaland wod, the score being 43 to 6. New Zealand clearly outclassed the British Columbians at all points, but the game was found to be highly entertaining by the American spectators, and there is much talk here about adopting it instead of the inter collegiate game, wbioh is considered too rough. The Now Zealanders wore banqueted to-nigbt by President Harrison, of the Olympia Club.
