RAILWAY TRAFFIC INTERRUPTED (Per Press Asnociation.) Dunedin,-last night. A waterspout burst on the Book and Pillar range about 6.30 this evening, washing away the formation on the Otago Central railway for a distance of three chains. -

The goods train whioh left Dunedin ia the afternoon was unable to prooeed beyond Middlemaroh. It is expeoted that the iine will be repaired in time to permit of trains run. ning as usual to-morrow. •
