A Now South Wales two million loan of 3d per cent., with a minimum of 92, was issued to-night. The un* derwriting is complete. In a single day nino aliens wore sentenced at the Old Bailoy, including two for crimes of violence, and fivo for robberies. All will be expelled at the termination of their sentences. The recent cyclonic disturbance in the far North did enormous damage to the banana crops. The loss is estimated at 70 per cent.
