Tho New Zealand Rugby Union has decided to oxtond an official woloomo to tho footballers on tho day after their arrival in Auokland, details being loft to tho Auokland Union to arrange. In tho ovening an invitation banquet will bo hold, at which tbo team will bo guesis. Local members of Parliament, oivil bodies, and representatives of all sporting bodies in tbo eolony are to bo invited. The oesl of the banquet will bo borne by tho New Zea’nnd Rugby Union. Owing to hie arrangements in tbo South tho Governor rogrots ho will be unable to visit Auokland to weloomo tbo team. The Premier aod Leador of ilho Opposition havo been invited.
