ARRIVALS BY AYRSHIRE

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night.

The steamer Ayrshire arrivod from London to-day, with 137 immigrants, including 54 for Auckland, and 83 for Wellington. They aro Eoglieh, Scotch, and Irish, mostly married couples with young children. Tbo average ago of tbo adults is between 20 and 40. Tiro men are chiefly farmers and mechanics, attaoted by reports of the prosperity of the country and tho conditions under which work is regulated.
