The weather was fine and there was a large 1 attendenoe. £BSBB 10s passed throegh the totalieator, as compared with £8577 ; 103 for the same day last year. The double event totalisator was worked in connection with the Suburban Handicap and Takepuna Jcckey Club Handioap,and £llsß was invested.
