A PROTRACTED CASE.

(Per Preso Association.) Dunedin, last night. The eighth day’s bearing of the seas men’a .dispute ..in the Arbitration Court closed tc-day without getting to tbe end of the case. For the union, W. J. Young, seoretary of the Wellington branch of the unioD, and W. Belcher, secretary of tbe Dunedin branch, gave evidence to-day. Mr Belcher, who is conducting tbe oase for the union, expects to finish 10-morrow.
