Sydney, Jan. 27. In the orioket match Viotoria in the first innings made 215, MoAlister 53 and Christian 38 being the chief scorers. New South Wales in their second innings had four wickets down for 274, Maokay 60, Noble (not out) 107, Waddy (not out) 66, both being ia excellent form. The Anniversary Handicap resulted: Birida 1, Kaffirpan 2, Cakewa'k 3. There were twelve starters. The betting was 3 to 1 Cakewalk, s’s Birida. There was a great finish, Won by half a length. Time 2.35 J.
