The New South Wales Minister for Works has received a report of the successful completion of the Boomi bore, near Moree 5 in connection with which extraordinary difficulties were surmounted. The bore was carried to a depth of over three-quarters of a mile, and gives an estimated supply of 900,000 gallons per day.
