MR CARRUTHERS PREDICTS HALF'A-MILLION SURPLUS. By telegraph, Press Ass’n, Copyright Reoeived 1.15 a.m.. Jan. 27. Sydney, Jan. 26. Mr Carruthers, speaking at Kiama, said that the primary products of the State last year reaohed the immense sum of forty-five millions. The revenue to Wednesday last exceeded that of the corresponding period of last year by half-a-million, He might confidently anticipate a surplus on the financial year of half-a-million.
