SHOOTING FATALITY.

(Per Press Association.) Timaru, last night,

I A gun accident, which resulted fatally, happened in the bush at Cannington yestorday. Two men, Joseph and David Gibson, cousins, were out cutting stakes for fencing. The latter, who took a gun with him, left his work to shoot some birds and rabbits, | when he tripped over some logs, and the charge exploding it entered his stomach. The injured man died two hours later. Deceased was a single man, about 42 years of age. At the inquest to-day tho jury returned a verdict of accidental death.
