The railway sta'icn at Avonda’e was recently broken into at night, and two ladies’ travc'liDg bags wore stolen. The property appropriated was va'ued a’togetber at £l4, and some articles of clothing which the bags contained were subsequently found strewn about the railway hne in the neighbourhood.
