(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. An inquest touching the death of Henry Paget, wbo was drowned through beiDg washed off an oil launch at Sumner on January 10ib, wa- he Id to-day. A verdict war returned that death was duo lo accident. The body was recovered in the rstuary near Sumner yesterday afternoon. Hokitika, last night. The damage to plant and bush will amount to a considerable sum, about one thousand pounds.
