Wellington, last night, A survey of Wellington harbor has been completed and tracings of soundings obtalnod, and have been forwarded through the Marine Department to the Hydegrapher to the Admiralty, Ohristoburoh, last night. The statement of the 37th week of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club’s egg-i laying competition at Linoola College Bhows that 606 eggs were laid during the week, making a total to data of 24,168. The fo'lowing are the best totals for the week; Alexandra Poultry Co.’s white Plymouth Books 33, A. Tyre’s black Orpingtons 26, D. Pleasant's s ! lver wyan-I “2** e U. Shaw's brown leghorns I 26. Best totals to date are H. Hawke’s I silver wyandottee 905, J. Mann’s white wyandottes 869, J. H. Shaw’s brown leghorns 816.
