KANAKAS' SPREE.
TAKE POSSESSION OF A SHOP. POLICE SHOOT SIX. By telegraph,, Press 'Ass’n, Copyrl'gh Received 11.16 p.m , Jan. 15. Thursday Island, Jan. 15. A party of drunken Kanakas took possession of a shop and sacked it. They threw bottleß at two constables and two soldieis attempting to arrest them. A oonstable procured a rifle and fired eeversl shots into the shop, wounding six Kanakas, two seriously.
