CUP COMPETITION. The msmber3 of tho equadron fired o2 the 500, GOO. and 700 yards ranges yesterday tor Mr W. R. Barkor’d cup. Some very good shooting was done. Lieutenant Tombloson, who did so well at PeDroso tho other weak, is IcadiDg for tho cup with a score of 219. Sergeant A. Zachar'ah is next with 209, Sergeant Major Evans being one behind him, and Trooper Co'e 203. The oountry members fire cff at three rangos on Saturday. Sergeant Zaohaiieh won the aggregate prize yesterday with 79. The range prises wore nnnoxed as under: 500yds, Lieutenant TomblesoD, 29; 600yds, Trooper Cole, 39; 700yds, Sergeant Hamilton, 24. Lieutenant Tombleson scored 26 at this tango, but os only ono range prize could be won bv him tho prize went to Sergeant Hamilton. Qa Thursday next tho squadron will shoot for tho ohampionship belt at the 200, 500, and 600 yards ranges, and on the following Thursday a match, Married v. Single, will bo fired,
