.(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Government has boon advised that tho first steamer of tho Bucknoll lino to trade between Canada and Now Zealand loaves Vanoouver this month. Tho Canadian Government givoa a subsidy of £IO,OOO per annum for three yoais, and the New Zealand Government £IO,OOO for one year with tho right of renewal if the servioo is j satisfactory. Mr J. Graham Gow, who loaves for the East on Saturday in connection with the I oomiog exhibition at Ohristoburob, will I in addition to working in the interests of I the exhibition, inquire into trade pos- I sibilitios in China and Japan, and pos- I sibility of opening up tho now markets for I the oolony’s products.
