'(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. The dock trust met to day, and rooeived tenlers for pumping machinery for the new dock, but owing to the lateness of the arrival of the Sin Francisoo mail it was decided to adjourn tender! fur a woek in order to allow the agents of home manufacturers to prepare tenders in acoordanoe with advices received by mail. It was decided to amalgamate the position of secretary, treasurer, managar and dock master, and to invite applications for the position; also for chief engineer and foreman carpenter. All present employees are under monthly notice. A portion of the timber for tho new copper dam has como to hand, and the construction of the dam is proceeding satisfactorily. In a faw weeks tho works wi'l ba oarried on night and day.
