The total for the thirty-sixth week of the New Zealanl egg-laying competition is 1748, a grand aggregate of 66,518. lhe weekly average per pen is 17.48. lhe highest layings for the week were : H. Lager’s white leghorns, Levin, 30; Hawke’s silver wyandottes, Greytown,oU, Ashworth’s silver wyandoi!e3, Alexandra, 28; Miss Mick Bhaw’s white leghorns, Blenheim, 28. The erder of merit in the grand aggregate now is Lager 1008, Brooks (South Auatrslia) 941, Marlbosongh A. and P. Association 933, Miss Mick Shaw 926, Jonathan Hodson-ell these pens being white leghorns. Total foe Deoamher 8878. The first prize for the month was won by the Marlborough A. and r. Association, 129; Hockey’s brown leg_ horns, Nelson, second, 126 > ?
