The weekly official review of the progress of the New Zealand Industrial Exhibition states that the tender of Messrs Moore Brop., £4998, for tbo art gallery of the exhibition has been accepted.
Government hrs sent invitations through tho Governir to tho following nations to bo represented at tho exhibition —United State s , France, Geimany, Nttheilandp, Swi zoiland, Itaiy, Spain, Russia, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Japan. The Government hns decided to send Mr Gow. of the iniustries and commeroa department, to Japan in the interests olt the exhibition, *.
