MAN BLOWS HIMSELF TO PIECES WITH DYNAMITE.
(Per Press Association.) Westport, last night' Richard Fitten, an old miner, discharged from Westport Hospital on Saturday morning, walked to his claim, 20 miles up tbe Buller read, and on Monday afternoon blow himself te pieces with dynamite. The only suggested eaurois despondency as to the state of his health.

Georgo B. Fcsette, aged 23, was drowned while bathing with others at Kaitoko yesterday.
Whangatci. last night. G Tait, aged about 50, manager lor G.ey and Menzies, was found dead in the factory. Deceased was last seen alive yesterday, wbon he left home to attend tho factory.
